The location, the lobby, the service and the conference facilities were all of a good standard. However, the quality of the room was considerably below the standard that I expect from the major hotel chains, the floorspace is limited, there is no minibar or fridge, the bathroom was dingy.

You'll always get good value here, though there's no real flash. I booked this through Priceline, so got a great deal for a room during the busy Christmas season. It is well-located in Back Bay and an easy walk to great shopping in Copley Place, Boylston St and Newbury St.
