I spent a great deal of time here while my mother stayed here on her visit to Boston. I used to be a hotel manager in Boston, and this is hands-down the best value you are going to get in the city, without question. One great perk is the self-park, which means you can come and go as you wish,... more

We stayed here for its proximity to Fenway Park and the Museum of Fine Arts, with an easy walk to both. Room was clean, roomy enough for two, king-size bed, plenty of storage space. Bathroom was clean and sufficiently supplied; shower sprayer might be too short for some. Small fridges available for small daily rental fee. Front desk people were... more

This place is a great deal for a no-fills overnight. Convenient location, clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff make this a winner. Any type of internet connection costs extra (either in room or in lobby), but we didn't need to stay connected on our overnight. Booking on-line on their site gave us the best price. We requested rooms next to... more

The Midtown is a fairly basic, spartan hotel but ultimately it is good value for money For the price paid (compared to what others are charging), you get a clean, reasonably sized room and best of all, you are in a great location close to the heart of Boston. So value for money is very good. As mentioned, the hotel... more

This hotel has the BEST location near lots of areas we visited with our grandchildren. Across the street from the Prudential observatory on the 50th floor, down the street from the symphony T stop, near Copley Square, etc. We rode the T all day and navigated the city easily and then went back to the Midtown to rest in the... more

Recently stayed for the second time at the Midtown Hotel/ $89/Night plus $18 for parking. Found it abit improved since stay of a few years ago. Clean, helpful staff and great location. Coffee maker in room. Ten minute walk to Newbury Street, 20 minutes to Boston Common. Can't be beat at that price! more

We arrived to this hotel after a nightmare hourney as their was a snow emergency declared in Boston. Our room was very spacious and had 2 big double beds, and plenty of space. We had a TV and radio. The bathroom was clean and the shower good. Although the rooms were basic, they were clean and comfortable. The hotel has... more

Parents- Audition at NEC or Berklee for your kid? THIS is the place! Love - just love this hotel. Staff is incredibly helpful. Parking is great - in a lot of cases you can see your car from your hotel window. Rooms were recently re-painted. Hotel is quiet and a very reasonable size. It is unbelievably low key place in... more

We stayed in the Midtown on a freezing, snowy week in March 08. The hotel was warm, clean and suited our budget perfectly. I did a lot of research and realised that we favoured location over luxury as we were going to be out exploring most of the day. The front desk staff were efficient and the old guy trying... more

This place is great. It's like being in Los Angeles in the 1960's except for the weather. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The location is excellent right near the Prudential Center and Copley Place as well as Symphony Hall and the Museum of Fine Arts. There is a separate little alcove for the sink with a chrome Kleenex... more
