I recently "stayed" here for a nearby wedding. The price was only $99 but it was worth about $39 even in Boston. I say "stayed" as we did not even stay over night but used it as a parking/changing station; it was too shabby to attempt to sleep in - and the windows were so old that the freezing winter... More

I stayed at this hotel with some initial trepidation. I was on my own for three nights to see two Boston Red Sox games versus my team, the Toronto BlueJays. I was on my own because my wife was travelling in Peru at the time. The hotel was very convenient and low cost. It turned out to be excellent; clean,... More

The hotel is located close to the Fenway Park in you are interested in seeing a game. The rooms are clean. They have a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. There is also a restaurant in the hotel as well. Down the street is the green line and red line train station. In walking distance there is a... More

Well it is not a palace but our room was very clean and comfortable. There was an awful odor in the hallway like someone got ill. Good point is that it is close to restaurants, drug and grocery stores. Only real complaint is that the heating unit was loud. More

We stayed at this Howard Johnsons-Fenway hotel a few years ago. This August we had the opportunity to visit Boston again to take in a baseball game. We figured that since the first visit went so well we would stay again at this Fenway location. We were not disappointed at this decision. We arrived a little early and we felt... More

Despite the plethora of poor reviews this hotel was pleasant and adequate. The accomodations were affordable and clean. The proximity to Fenway can't be beat! Sure, it's no five-star with monkey butlers, but it made our trip to Boston more economical. More

I make business trips at least one week out of every month and have been doing so for years. Thus I have many hotel experiences to compare with my stays at Howard Johnson Boston-Fenway Park. This hotel is an older one so the furnishings reflect its age. It does not have elevators so it is important to ask for a... More

This hotel is completely run down and out dated. I felt like anyone could just push through the door because the locks were so crappy. Our AC didn't work and the room was warm so we had to open up the window as the only option. It's right next to a sports bar which was really good and made it... More

We checked into this hotel for two nights, luckily it was not more than that, There is no elevators so if we had heavy luggage im not sure what we would have done. Luckily the staff at the front was nice enough to give us a room on the ground floor. The hallways smelled so bad we had to cover... More

"Fleabag" is the word that comes to mind. Strong smell of mold in the room (the clothes in my luggage still smell of it); Dirty, stained carpet and furniture (You can literally "feel" how dirty the carpet is under your bare feet..I kept my socks on after that); The blanket on one of the beds was actually sticky! Cracks in... More
