Although the location to Fenway is a plus, this hotel is in need of major renovation. Number one priority is that they get new beds. These were REALLY bad. Stayed for 4th of July, rooms are old, peeling wall paper, stained ceilings, grouse carpeting and temp. contols in room missing. But the female working the front desk Saturday and Sunday morning really needs a lesson in HOSPITALITY. Spend the extra money and stay some where else. more

We stayed at this location as it was close to the Red Sox Ball Park. My husband was unable to walk far due to foot injury so this worked out fine for us. I go periodically to Boston for a medical checkup. The Howard Johnson Inn at Fenway Park has the most competitive prices and the location is convenient to the medical complex.
