I am a devoted fan of TripAdvisor, and I decided to head to Boston last weekend to watch the Superbowl. After looking on tripadvisor, i settled on the Hotel Buckminster, and boy was i glad i did. This hotel is in a perfect location near Fenway Park. It is a bit out of the way from the more touristy areas,... More

The price is right. The hotel is near everything. The lobby looks great, but once upstairs, you see why you are paying less. You can smell the cigarette smoke from the rooms, and the fabreeze used to cover it. The show stopper was when I went to take a bath and a cockroach came out of the faucet. The staff... More

We stayed in this hotel in October 2011. It is in a great location, near a selection of bars and restaurants, the student district, and has good transport links to the harbour side of Boston. We walked from this hotel down to the harbour, it was a beautiful walk through lovely parks and gave us a chance to look at... More

My son and I spent 5 nights at the Buckminster in November on a sports trip. The hotel was great. It was right on the Green Line which took us to Boston College as well as to downtown Boston to TD Gardens and to the South Station to catch the train to Foxboro to see the Pats play the NY... More

2 great nights there. The hotal is located near Kenmore station and Fenway Park. The room (or suite) is soooooo big and contains 3 TVs, microwave and refrigerator. Over $90 per night with free breakfast. Although some things(TVs, lamps) are old and the Wifi is not good enough, I will choose this hotel next time if I want to watch... More

We stayed here at the start of our tour around New England in October 2011. The room was clean and the bathroom was spacious and really well equipped. Breakfast was served in the Japanese restaurant next door and was a nice selection of cold pastries, cereal and juices. There was work going on in the lobby while we were there... More

This is an old, but clean & comfortable hotel. It's easy to find. There's a T station right down the street (which is how we traveled), but plenty of parking nearby if you choose to drive. Fenway is a walk around the corner. We hit Boston Beer Works for dinner, always delicious! We have stayed here before in one of... More

Being a BU alum, this hotel's location is ideal for me because it sits right on the eastern edge of the campus, but it is also great for anyone visiting Boston for any occasion. Right smack in the middle of Kenmore Square (right by Boston's famous Citgo sign), the hotel is walking distance from the shopping and restaurants of Back... More
