We stayed in what appeared to be an older room in the one level older part of the complex. The room seemed clean with the exception of a stain on the bedspread. The parking lot was full of giant pickup trucks and SUVs and I felt like I was one of the only women staying there (must have been a... more

The good: hotel itself was okay. Old buildings, but updated rooms. Relatively clean, very nice flat screen TV and nice AC/heat unit. Clean sheets. $58/night so cheap. The bad: Noise. Police sirens up and down at least 3 different times. Car alarm, yelling in pakring lot, could hear video game in room above me. Lots of loud trucks, cars up... more

I stopped at the motel while passing through town. Normally I'm not an EconoLodge fan but this motel was the closest to the highway other than a few dive motels down the street. I must say I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay again. The lady working the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. She was able to... more

We booked this room for a one night stay. Wanted something fairly cheap because we knew we would get in late and leave early the next morning. The non-smoking room smelled like a smoking room. It was fairly clean, but just smelled bad. The bathroom was small very small, about 21/2 feet from tub to the wall. Shower head came... more

Booked for one night stay on long trip. Great – clean, nice, great breakfast choices of sausage & biscuits, cereal, or freshly made waffles. The room next door was having a party (Saturday night graduation), and when it went on too long and got too loud after midnight we called the office and they were very prompt in taking care... more

We stayed two nights in the Econo Lodge when we took our Miniature Schnauzer to Topeka for surgery. Pets are welcome, but extra charge. We called to be sure pets were indeed welcome before we booked the room. The room was very clean and pleasantly decorated. It was small with a queen bed and loveseat, table, desk. Everything looked pretty... more

My husband and I stayed here for about 2 months. While this was not one of the nicest motels we've stayed in (we travel a lot for his job), we found our room to be clean and comfortable enough. Took a couple weeks to get the cleaning schedule worked out with housekeeping, but once we did, our stay was much... more

Great Motel, more than we expected. No negative to report. Quite, clean, nice friendly staff and managers. Good breakfast. A bargain for the money spent. Has wireless, good area of town, near all attractions and downtown. Will stay again when in Topeka. Remember the new owner have had the Motel for a couple of years so the old reviews are... more

My son and I stayed at this hotel after attending a baseball game in Kansas City and we were traveling west. We arrived late and obtained a room on the third floor in the building behind the office. There is only stairs to the third floor, no elevator. All in all it was a quiet area. The room was adequate.... more

I've stayed in five star hotels in the U.S. and Europe for business, and had no expectations for this modest Econo Lodge that was conveniently located eight blocks from the event I was attending at the Topeka ExpoCenter. But the friendly, helpful, available staff really impressed me, from my first call to book a room, to my second phone call... more
