I went to SD for a conference at another property but elected to stay here because it was a newer property. It was the best stay I think we have ever experienced. We were there for the 4th of July and all I can say is WOW. The fireworks could be seen from the grass and people come out in... more

This hotel is beautiful and has a stunning courtyard area. I was given a balcony room, which didn't have patio chairs, and liked it alot. I had a flat screen tv with satellite. The staff was super helpful and the bar area was also quite nice. I did not eat at the restaurant on site. The rooms were very up... more

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at this Courtyard by Marriott for seven nights from June 12-19. My husband was attending a conference at another hotel, but when I researched nearby hotels, this one stood out above all the rest! It was new, sparkling clean, and extremely well-maintained! Our room was on the fourth floor with a beautiful view of... more

This was a superb hotel in terms of service , decor etc. Couldn't fault it. It's just a little bit out of town. The cab ride to say the gaslamp was roughly $17 each time. This adds up when you make several trips. Having said that if you have a car you're just around the corner from SeaWorld and that's... more

My husband and I spent 4 nights here in late May/early June; it was one of the official Rock & Roll Marathon hotels and was close to the finish line. The hotel is new (maybe 1-2 years old) and everything was fresh and clean. Our room was very well laid-out and housekeeping was thorough, although they did tend to come... more

The only things that was just a tad annoying are the airplanes that fly by and is kind of noise and the slamming... more

I planned this trip as a surprise anniversary gift, and was not disappointed. We thought the hotel was a little hard to find on our own, though I do believe they offer free airport shuttles (we had a rental car). A good tip for us would have been if someone said to look for the Naval academy entrance off of... more

It's an ok hotel but the rooms were small. We had a suite the first night and the bathroom drains smelled so bad we had to keep the door shut and request a new room the next few nights. The next room was down the hall facing the front of the hotel so there was an overhang that fronts the... more

Very new Courtyard in a convenient location to many San Diego locations. Rooms are very comfortable and include a nice flat screen TV. There is a nice walking path behind the hotel (if you do not mind the occasional airplane taking off). Food was decent and pricing fine. Very modern hotel. Excellent fitness center equipment. more

Overall, this hotel was well-worth the price paid. My only complaints would be that I found a dirty washcloth on the towel rack when we entered the room and the breakfast buffet was pretty meager. Location, on the other hand, was very convenient, particularly in proximity to the airport. It is behind a few convenient restaurants offering a range in... more
