The rooms are really spacious with balconys, and that is nice. The pool area is ok, but in the shade during the afternoon. The whole place is pretty worn, and it is not stylish or charming at all. I have stayed at this hotel for several years. It is at the top of the list for San Diego Hotels. It is withing walking distance to one of the most appealing neighborhoods in San Diego, Hillcrest.
