Did I mention gross? We spent a month in Southern California traveling to beaches up and down the coast. This "motel" was by far the worst we stayed in. The room was hot and humid at night, making it hard to sleep. The noise level didn't help either. Little privacy. We caught the neighbors peeking into our room from the balcony while we slept. I gave it an overall 4 stars because of the location! It is right on the beach and for the price it is hard to beat! Stay on the 4th floor or your view will be obscured by a restaurant (I took this advice from this site and BELIEVE ME on this one!). I can't say anything about the pool.... more

definitely not fancy---no free breakfast, no coffee in room, you have to pay for parking, no jacuzzi, the room was adequate. However, the view from the fourth floor was fantastic---just beautiful, 2 minutes to the sand! I would stay again. more
