I moved up from the squalid Golden West Hotel and discovered Travel Lodge! At over $80 a night it was 3X more expensive Golden West. Much Cleaner and nicer, but, this place has seen better days. By not booking in advance I ended up at the Downtown Lodge and was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and refreshing. the price was very competitive and the staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. more

This hotel is terrible. I would never reccommend it. Do not stay here even if the other hotels are booked or only have the higher rate rooms available...it is uncomfortable. The price was cheap, and rightly so! Very loud. Situated between an on-ramp and an on-ramp so no wonder. Without earplugs, good luck. Staff was nice, and were willing to let us check out a day early (we found a room for the same price via 3rd party Internet site...much better). Room was clean, but very worn.
