I recently stayed 5 nights in the hotel and there is nothing good about it except the proximity to the beach. The maid STOLE my phone charger, the walls are paper thin, its located on a busy street with loud traffic (see paper thin walls), the keys to the door are old-school/not plastic cards whic is a security concern, the... Thank you for your comments and for staying with us. I do not really know what to say about your phone charger, except that over the years, we have amassed a box of these that have been left behind. I'm surprised we didn't atleast have a replacement for you. I do apologize for that. We are in the process of... More

So I checked in the hotel very early like 11am with no additional charge which was greatly appreciated since I was driving all night long. So I got into the room and the room was ok I guess for being a dive. However the bed was so hard and not comfortable I kept waking up though out the night. The... More

Thank you, first of all, for taking the time to write comments about your stay with us. I know it was not very nice, but things are in the process of changing very quickily. In fact, by the end of April, the entire property should be fully renovated to a completey different standard. Because of the condition we received this... More

This is a rather nice hotel if you are on a budget. You can park your car(FYI not much parking space) and pretty much walk wherever else you need to go. If you have a lot of $$$, then no need to stay here, but if you are out on a very limited budget, this is a great place to... More

Having read prevous reviews, questionned decision to stay there. Arrived, checked in, room clean, actually a small suite with bedroom and kitchen, sitting room. Staff friendly and helpful. The walk to beach is short, food near. good spot especially for the $$$. More

We picked the Seacoast Palms for it's location which is great, 1/4 block from Pacific Beach. The first room they gave us had little daylight so the nice man at the desk gave us a courtyard room with a big window. It was very basic. The carpet was wet and so the room was very damp. The lampshades were old... More

I travel a lot, and so I've stayed in a lot of hotels both nice and not so nice. This is among the worst lodging experiences I've ever had. This past weekend I was traveling to San Diego for a friend's wedding. The wedding party had rooms set aside at a resort near here, but they had a two night... More

A last minute trip to escape the desert heat got us to stay at the Seacoast Palms. The rooms are basic. The motel has a great location and parking for guests, but that's about all it has going for it. The rooms smell old but they were clean. It's not the sort of place you'd seek out for a vacation,... The cost per night of our room was around $90 per night. We stayed two nights. There were pros and cons. I saw an earlier review where the manager replied and said they were making improvements. From what I saw I believe him. The room was old and outdated but it was clean. They did provide a fridge and lots... More

We had not checked any reviews before checking in to this hotel, however we had found many good hotels the same way on our trip before. We arrived at PB in the evening, looking for a hotel room for 2 nights. The rate given was in comparison to rest of the motels at the PB very good, so we just... More

I'm responding to this review because I can definately understand your concerns. This property had many isseus before we took over ownership and management in early February. I have to admit that most of everything you stated was quickly fixed or resolved. If you were to check in again, you would notice the differences before even getting to your guest... More
