We thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay at the Ocean Beach Hotel in Ocean Beach, CA. We had two ground floor rooms and opted for one dog friendly room with patio. OB Hotel is like a little paradise right in the middle of all the action. There is a beautiful courtyard filled with flowers. You just have to cross a small street to get to the beach. Well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, any balcony room is highly recomended, they alow you to view the ocean as well as the town life below. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. The beautiful, lush courtyard is meticulously maintained. For a relaxing southern Cal. beach experience, this is the place. more

We chose this hotel strictly for its location for a family vacation. I had read reviews and realized it wouldn't be a palace, but I like a little charm and the beachfront location is exactly as billed. The room was not.
