After numerous sold out calls, we were stuck here. The place is really weird with its medieval theme. Many floors house long term residents. Carpets were rolled up in the halls presenting fire hazards, the ceiling falling down. I did not take my shoes off during our stay. It was our welcome back to America.
I've stayed in plenty of budget and questionable places but for $80 this place has got to be the most disgusting on any continent.
Its worth about $10 US.
Funny thing....I called for a pickup with the rental car company and when they asked where we were staying, I said "the worst place in San Diego" The guy says "oh no, that would be the Pickwick"
I've yet to check that place out. more
