I took my wife to San Diego for Valentines day. We stayed in a newly renovated suite. It was spacious, clean, attactive and relatively inexpensive. Room was dirty - dirt on ceiling from the fan / filthy air filter and we had to request it to be changed. They gave us a room with a view of the parking lot and air conditioners on the roof and expected us to buy in to the time share. Kids ran through the parking lot banging on cars... more

We stayed at the Wyndham Harbour Lights hotel as a guest through my parents' timeshare. As other reviews say, it is a louder place than most. After a very disappointing experience at another Wyndham resort we were not expecting the excellence we encountered here. Both my wife and I travel a lot for business as well as for leisure. This resort is really a converted hotel.. The hotel is in the so called ( trendy ) Gaslamp district it reminded me a little of the Rush Street area in Chicago with the bars & restaurants.
