I am so sorry we were only able to stay 3 days. The location was perfect for us, the room was spotless, quiet, spacious and far exceeded our expectations. The price was great, too. The breakfast provided in the lobby was excellent, not just a continental breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel. more

Stayed for two nights for a wedding in the area. Very clean, quiet, easy to get to location. Daily breakfast was quite good, didn't get to enjoy afternoon reception. There are apparently 2 Residence Inns in Rancho Bernardo. This review applies to the Carmel Mountain Ranch location. Spacious suite/apartment-style layout with full kitchen. Excellent breakfast bar with waffles. Stayed on a weekend, so didn’t partake in the free weeknight “light dinner” and cocktail hour. Room was comfortable, though slightly funky smell pervaded the whole apartment, but it wasn’t intolerable.... more
