The hotel had a great location. It was walking distance from enough city attractions/areas to keep us busy all week. The lobby and room was kept very clean, we were very impressed. A few downfalls were the view, we had a balcony that looked out to the top level of a parking garage, the restaurant was only open M-F for... more

Stayed here for 5 nights, 6 days Pros: Great location, reasonably good breakfast, reasonably clean Cons: Old towels (clean), old shower curtains (not-so-clean), hotel needs to be refurbished Problems: Reserved a Bayview room (for which they charge more) but the bathtub drain was not working properly - so ended up with 3 inches of water by the time I was... more

We had researched this place prior to arrival, and it duly lived up to expectations. Our cruise ended in San Diego, and we called the hotel at 9.00am asking if they could pick us up from the cruise ship terminal. The complimentary shuttle duly arrived about 10 minutes later, and drove us the short distance to the hotel. Although check-in... more

Only visited for a few days for a conference in San Diego but had a really nice stay. Nice big room with air conditioning huge comfy bed clean bathroom, helpful front desk - clearly used to having conference delegates about - provided me with the local map and timetable for the conference centre bus (which picks up just across the... more

We loved this hotel!! We only stayed 1 night because we came for a day trip from Redondo Beach where we were staying at the Crowne Plaza. We chose this hotel because it was inexpensive and spur of the moment and our Redondo Beach hotel was paid for through the week, so we were budgeted on our San Diego stay.... more

I stayed here for two nights as part of a tour of the US. The hotel is clean and comfortable with large rooms. We had breakfast included which was reasonable but the dining room cannot accommodate everyone when the hotel is full so we had to eat outside. The hotel is well positioned if you plan to visit the ships... more

Walking distance to the USS Midway, easy trolley ride to Petco Park and Gas Lamp Quarter, and short bus ride to the Zoo, we sure enjoyed our 3-day stay here. Free shuttle to the airport and complimentary breakfast also made it easier on our budget! The staff was friendly and Shiela was especially helpful in showing us how to navigate... more

Good hotel for sightseeing as it's a short walk from the bayside and next to Little Italy. Better because we got a bayside view, may not be so good if you don't. it was very noisy with trams, trains and boats going past all the time. Comfy beds and spacious room but the shower temparature was a bit dodgy! Breakfast... more

WOW, where do I start? Ok, I was a late check in. The guy says he has one room left, so I hurry over there. At the counter I hear him say that to another customer on the phone, hummmm. The card key wouldn't work on my door, the security guard downstairs asked as I approached "Let me guess, your... more
