Me and my wife needed a little time to ourselves and thought San Diego would be the perfect place. It was more of a last minute trip and were looking for a good deal. After searching and reading reviews on the internet we chose the Seven Seas. Check in was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in late July and liked it enough to stay there again. Free parking right by room, although I notice the parking lot was pretty dark at night. Doesn't bother me but single women traveling alone might care. Room was just average, with dated looking furnishings, and a carpet that needed to be replaced soon. Still... more

I stayed at this location with my brother in law while attending Comic-con in San Diego. With all the hotels downtown sold out, this was the closest we could get that wouldnt cost us $175 a night. After reading some of the reviews on here, ill admit I was pretty weary about what to expect. Let me just say that... more

I did a lot of research trying to find a place that wouldn't break the bank and was close to major attractions. It was clean and comfortable. Parking was free. The food at the restaurant is good, but a bit high. The pool was a little scummy as was the second hot tub outside the pool. It is a safe... more

This hotel is very average, but clean. When booking this hotel all I really cared about was finding a CLEAN, affordable hotel in a safe neighborhood. This hotel meets all of the above. It was full of families looking for the same things. I would have no problem staying here again. For $99.00 a night it cant be beat! more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night during a week stay in San Diego. We were unfamiliar with the area and after searching websites, booked through bestwestern.com. We would have stayed longer, but ended up getting a better deal through Priceline that night. The front desk staff was polite and didn't have a problem when we... more

I stayed at this location with my beau. He lives in San Diego about 10 minutes away. We wanted a night away from friends and family. We are very familiar with the area, the rate was good and best western is typically very decent. I don't recommend this place if you are a couple looking for a getaway or a... more

It all started with the reservation. After calling a few other properties in the area I called the Seven Seas. I spoke with the girl in reservation for about 5 minutes and she gave a ton of information on the area and answered all my questions. When you drive up to the hotel you can't help but notice the landscaping.... more

...with the inconsistencies from last year eg. dark & dingy rooms, soiled carpeting and moldy spots were some negatives in this centrally located hotel. It wasn't a good situation but we were stuck with it for this past trip out. This is meant as an FYI to viewers beware. Management needs to put some money into improvements. We as patrons... more

Watch out! May 2008 - I recently stayed at the Seven Sea's Hotel in San Diego and was very disappointed. Although the grounds are beautiful, the room was small and dark, the house keeping was poor (when I checked in, I found a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom), and the manager was extremely rude (he told me that he... more
