I booked a reservation at this hotel after reading the other positive reviews of this hotel. I seriously don't know what hotel those folks were staying at because this place was a dump!. The first problem was that there is no where to park. If you aren't lucky enough to get one of the 4 spots in front of the... more

The rooms are pretty nice and its a good distance from beach. People who work there (including management) apparently lack common sense and any business ethics. I ended up staying the remaining 5 out of my 6 nights at another hotel. more

All of the good reviews are right on. Our sons have stayed here several times and they said we had to stay right near the beach for $104 through Orbitz. What a great location. We rented bikes nearby to ride on the ocean blvd. The breakfast is very simple at the hotel but walk down about 4 blocks south on... more

For spring break my boyfriend and I decided to get away for the week. He was the one who found the hotel. It really is a nice place for the cost. Nice cozy kitchen area with microwave and stove top as well as a mini fridge with freezer. The bed is amazingly soft, I actually looked at the brand so... more

The Diamond Head Inn was a great little hotel on the boardwalk at Pacific Beach. I believe they have just over 20 rooms. All but 2 only host 1 bed. The 2 bed suites have balcony's overlooking the ocean. The staff was accomodating, the rooms were recently remodeled and very clean. From the hotel, the beach is just down the... more

We just returned from our Honeymoon at the Diamond Head Inn and it was just lovely!! We had a two room suite complete with a kitchen - (with a view of the ocean from front windows. (Even though it wasn't considered an "ocean view" room). It's clean, recently remodled, well decorated and even though it didn't have AC - it... more

This place is perfect for the beach lover. No need to hire a car when staying here as the number 30 bus at the corner of the street will take you to Old Town where you can get around so easily. The place is comfortable, not plush and some staff just give off the feeling they can't be bothered to... more

I booked one room here because the price was better than other beachfront hotels. The room is clean- slightly dated- and the amenities are not modern- but acceptable. They upgraded me from the single room to the suite with a balcony facing the beach- so my review may be biased. But the view is phenomenal and the location is great.... more

We just came back from our fourth stay at the Diamond Head Inn in PB beach. We have a 10 year old child and we always book the largest room (two queen beds in separate room with door) sitting room with TV and sofa that's a pull out bed, and kitchenette. We love the staff, the rooms are clean, the... more
