I arrived at Embassy Suites on Sunday, June 28th and stayed until July 1st. I think they were overwhelmed with checkin since my room was ready at 4 p.m. exactly. However the room was clean, modern and safe. I had everything I needed for my stay. The manager's reception was a nice addition after a long day at the conference.... more

I've stayed in many Embassy Suites. They are great for families and are usually reasonably priced. This one is middle of the pack. Being in San Diego, I expected it to be a top tier Embassy. I was here on vacation with my wife and three teenagers. It met our needs and not much more. There were some positives. 1.... more

This hotel is in a great location, near Seaport Village and close to many San Diego attractions. Excellent breakfast and happy hour. Rooms are a very nice size. Beds are very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, but slow. Nice pool and hot tub. I prefer to self park, and this was not an option at this hotel. I feel... more

This hotel offered spacious, clean rooms; exceptional amenities and terrific value. The hotel itself is nicely appointed and the rooms were well maintained. The pool is adequate and the outdoor hot tub area is a real delight with comfy loungers and couches. Free full breakfast had lots of choices and the dining area was kept clean. The manager's reception in... more

I've stayed at the Embassy Suites in many cities. The suites are very nice and spacious. We love the 2nd sink and fridge. The Manager's Reception and hot breakfast are a very welcome touch. I was very surprised to find they charged $12.95 for WiFi! And our mattress kind of dipped in the middle. We are a couple in our... more

It is clear that this hotel is perfect for families with children. The breakfast and happy hour are okay, but I would prefer a less steep parking charge (makes for a lot of tipping, too), and at the very least, no charge for internet usage. The charge is $12.95 per computer. The hotel is noisy due to the trains and... more

We stayed with our 3 kids (ages 7, 6 and 3) and found this hotel very much to our liking. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious although they could use updating. The kids loved the indoor pool, the jacuzzi and the free breakfast and manager's reception (there are soft drinks and snacks in addition to cocktails). We stayed on... more

The rooms are huge, and the free breakfast and nightly manager's reception (free snacks and drinks) are nice touches. The location is decent. About 3 blocks from the business district, across the street from Seaport Village and about a 10 minute walk to the convention center or the Gaslamp District. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Had I... more

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a seven day trip to San Diego. I was very impressed with the hotel. The property was well maintained and all of the units were suites that included seperate living and sleeping areas. This is an ideal hotel to visit if you are traveling with young children. The rooms are... more

Stayed for the weekend, got in late afternoon on Friday and the manager's reception was even offered on Friday, not just Monday through Thursday. Front Desk was very nice, accommodated all our requests as we were checking in. We had a room on 11th floor, cannot complaint of any noise at all. We even kept our windows open during night.... more
