Location Hotel Circle North. Good for conferences, receptions and seminars. But it is some way to the centre of San Diego, so not the place to be if you want to spend most of your time exploring the city. Close to I8 freeway. To downtown by car is 10 mins. (Cab $15). Stayed at the hotel for 5 days during a wedding. Hotel was clean. The only negitive things I would say is they dont offer free Wifi and parking like the near by hotels. Prepare to pay extra for stuff normally provided for free such as parking, room internet service, access to a computer with printer for boarding pass and forget about that free breakfast danish. I've stayed here 3 times over the past few years. Its a great Hotel for the money. Room are big and clean and the Hotel grounds are beautiful. Its a little outside of San Diego but for the price its worth a 10 min drive downtown. more

My husband and I stayed here for a last minute weekend getaway. The room was nice, roomy, and clean. The bed was huge with a quality mattress (misery if it's not) and we had a huge patio.
