Prepaid for this hotel and showed up for a late check-in and they gave me the run around for 45 minutes saying they had no rooms left. Finally got a room but this experience was ridiculous and soured the entire stay. Rooms were okay but overpriced for what you received. Parking was difficult in the tiny spaces either in the... more

So I got the hotel on priceline for 50 bucks on a Sunday night, but was a little scared based on some of the reviews I read on here. It seemed like it was either hit or miss. I was pleasantly suprised at how great it was! My roommate and I came from LA for a quick getaway to visit... more

I got this hotel on PriceLine for $55. I am not sure why but the San Diego hotels that I have booked on PriceLine have all been filled with high school students - either sports teams or bands. The hotel is undergoing a modernization and the front entrance is closed. I suppose the staff is paid minimum wage so they... more

We Pricelined this place and it was cheap and close to zoo etc. They had remodeled some of the floors, but Priceline users don't get those rooms. Window was broken and gaping open- which really helped to keep out the horrible screeching noise the rooftop airconditioners were making 24/7 (ajacent to our window). Water damage around window frame and wall... more

I use Priceline often when travelling to San Diego, and when choosing the Mission Valley area I always get this hotel. This place is definitely NOT a 3 star hotel. The plumbing is bad, the electricity is weird (i.e. flickering lights, TV's do not work properly) and though some of the staff is friendly, it seems as though they are... more

Money Hungry… We have stayed in this hotel three times. The first time was great. The second time the hotel charged us twice. The front desk had made a mistake and could not correct it without talking to the accounting office. They were suppose to call us the next day. That never happened. We had to call them. When trying... more

I booked my stay via Priceline and got a very good rate! Like the last reviewer, I was worried about this hotel, given the recent reviews. But, I was surprised and pleased with my stay. LOCATION: The hotel is closer to Kearney Mesa and Miramar MCAS. It is not close to the shopping area and the other hotels of Mission... more

Overall I was very pleased by this hotel. After reading some review's I was a little worried about staying there because of the service rating and some of the room ratings. When i called the actual hotel to confirm that it was only a King bed and not two queens, the lady at the hotel was extremely rude and hung... more

Their customer service is awful. I spent a week trying to resolve a cancellation issue and they were almost totally unresponsive. I gave up and paid the bill and found out that they overcharged me. I spent two weeks trying to get them to fix the bill without success. I finally had to get my credit card company involved and... more

It was about 10-15 mins from the main attractions (Sea World, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Downtown, etc). The freeway noise wasn't too bad. It did smell a little bit in the lobby area, but not bothersome. Washer/Dryer on the 4th floor, but bring your own detergent. FREE ample parking. Staff were nice. I actually liked this stay better than... more
