Stayed in hotel circle in July 08 to see San Diego. Rooms were nice, good beds and great shower head. One of the pools was closed but the other was open and was great for the kids. I believe that you usually get what you pay for. The Vagabond is a good deal however, and worth a bit more than the daily hotel rate. The property is clean and well situated. We had 15 women stay at the Vagabond while we attended a conference at the Cox Arena. EVERYONE loved their rooms! It was just remodeled with microwave, refridgerator, complimentary breakfast - and the staff was very helpful and friendly!!! It was a great deal for the price! more

The staff was pleasant; they allowed my folks (handicapped) to stay on the bottom floor where the room opens on to the pool deck. The rooms were as clean, the service was friendly.
