Nice hotel for the price. Had no problems whatsoever, and the manager was super-friendly. Breakfasts were nice and so was having wifi. There was lots to do in the general area, but you'll be driving everywhere except to maybe a couple shopping spots and bars within walking distance. more

We stayed one night in room 118 at Best Western Lamplighter Inn in La Mesa for less than $100, all-in.
