The view from the restaurant at the Nullagvik Hotel is splendid any time of day in almost any weather. Some visitors to Kotzebue sit in the window and drink coffee all day. The food is also good. The hotel is very clean (spotless!) and comfortable-comparable to a very clean Hampton Inn without the breakfast. Check-in was a bit slow but the staff was professional and courteous. The quality is about equal to a Motel 6. It's repectable but nothing special. Rooms are average, in good repair, and clean. They advertise a continental breakfast but all they offer is donuts and coffee. They are priced way too high for what you get.

The hotel is really nice and the staff is very courteous. The management went out of their way to please the guests. A clean, enjoyable, and calm atmosphere after a very hard day of work. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting the city of Kotzebue. A real pleasure!! Cheers to the management.
