We absolutely love Highland Lake. We stayed in The Trillium which is one of the garden hamlet cottages. It was absolutely adorable. The grounds at Highland Lake are just gorgeous. “QUIET SERENITY right in the midst of ACTIVITIES & CULTURE!”

My wife & I spent Thanksgiving at Highland Lake Inn for a quiet getaway, travelling there with another couple. We had rooms in the Woodward House which was nicely furnished, quiet, and very comfortable. “First class relaxation and food”

A little gem of a resort in Flat Rock, NC. Unassuming and casual, but a great place to recharge and enjoy some mountain beauty and excellent food at Season's, the resort's restaurant. Don't miss the Sunday brunch. It is one of the best meals you'll ever have.

“Very relaxing and enjoyable”

My wife and I spent our 4th anniversary at a cabin at Highland Lake Inn. It was very quiet, relaxing, and enjoyable the last week in November. We hiked to 3 waterfalls in Dupont State Park only 20 minutes away and then used the paddleboat in the private ;lake. The complimentary breakfast at The Seaon's was excellent. Would highly recommend.

“A Wonderful Getaway”
