Stayed 1 night for a trip to carlsbad caverns. Hotel feels very new, very comfy beds and clean. on the right side of the town to get to the caverns. Only negative was the I had a really really noisy bathroom fan, not sure whether the neighbours could hear it, so didn;t use it much. Would highly recommend booking ahead... more

We were heading to Carlsbad Caverns and one family member wanted to stay at a Days Inn, so we chose this one. Lucky for us, Days Inn was on the edge of the town on the side of the caverns, so it was easy to get out of town. The room had a TV, a microwave and a fridge, which... more

I reserved my room online 3 or 4 weeks ahead of time for a one night stay on 6/18/09 - a queen non-smoking room - and when I checked in, the first thing I noticed was the awful smell of smoke. I have health problems and am allergic to smoke but they said there was nothing they could do because... more

After driving past some of the older motels in Carlsbad, we were a little worried that we would find anyplace decent to stay. But the TripAdvisor comments on this motel made it sound acceptable and it was just fine. The clerk was friendly, the room was very clean, and the people staying there were all decent. I've stayed at some... more

Service wes very good, our king suite was large and had all the "musts" ref. micro.iron, blow dryer, lots of good large towels. The location is excellent nice and quiet and convenient esp. if you are headed to the caverns. The pool was nice as was the hot tub. The ONLY real complaint we had was the baseboards and corners... more

We needed a one night stay on our way out to California. We arrived at the local airport at midnight. I had called ahead to see if we could get pick up from the airport. They said it was no problem even that late at night. (Another hotel had said they would pick us up, but when I called back... more

I would NOT recomment this hotel to anyone. We came to town to see the caverns. We had a pet with us. Upon arrival, we were informed that quests with pets had to stay in smoking rooms (we do not smoke). This would have been OK if the room were clean, but it smelled as if 20 smokers had been... more

We stayed in a King Suite with a sofa sleeper. Hotel is extremely clean and very comfortable. This suite is quite large, with a separate den/bdrm spaces. The hotel offered a sturdy crib for our 19 month old. We got it at a great price of $89/night. The only drawbacks: 1) the breakfast is not a full, hot breakfast (but... more

After reading other reviews in Trip Advisor, I decided the place wouldn't be all that bad (for the price) for a one-night stay to be close to the Caverns. Turned out okay. For sure, the place is pretty basic -- but clean enough and the folks at the front desk seem to be helpful. Ask for a room over the... more

Marquee said indoor pool/jacuzzi, free breakfast. Stopped for those reasons. Later, realized pool/jacuzzi out of service. Could have gone less than a quarter of a mile down, pay half the price, and had the services I was looking for plus a room just as nice or better. I thought it was to expensive ($90) for 1 adult and 2 children. more
