Good location, plenty of little luxuries without a luxury price. Price reasonable for Manhattan (when did it get so expensive?). Staff were very helpful and informative. Continental breakfast and good coffee available at no extra charge. Our room was large and clean. Location in Chelsea was excellent.

My fiance and I stayed at the Chelsea Savoy for three nights in early June. This place does not get enough credit! Yes, the decor is tired, but the hotel couldn't be in a better location. There's a subway station right outside, and then two further subway stops (all three are on 23rd St but different lines) about five minutes... More

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Chelsea Savoy. Everything was great. Not a problem of any sort other than the surly porter who actually refused to help me with some luggage. He was apparently too busy. The rooms are very well maintained. Everything worked perfectly. The crib I had requested when I made the reservation was waiting... More

Chelsea Savoy Hotel is showing signs of yhe economic times but management have kept essential services...daily maid service, complimentary light breakfast. It's location is great with both the subway and buses from the door. Do yourself a favour and check out the Whole Foods store nearby. Wifi is available for a fee and there is no bellhop; lighting is by... More

We visited this hotel for 4 nights in April 2013. It was clean and comfortable and the room plenty big enough for 4 adults (both children now taller than us!). The staff were always polite and helpful, they arranged extra towels and pillows immediately and booked our return taxi to the airport. We did not make use of the complementary... More

Our son was graduating from Columbia but we didn't need to stay in the Upper West side since we only spent one day on campus. For us the Chelsea hotel location was great, there is a subway stop right there so gettting around Manhattan was super easy. The room was a good size for the three of us (myself, my... More

The location is excellent if you are interested in exploring Manhattan away from the touristy Time Square Area. The room was clean and had all the amenities required but the bed was HARD as A ROCK. Interior was a little dated. Check out the Flea Markets on 25th St. on the Weekends and don’t forget the Flatiron Build a block... More

Clean, reasonably prices, very convenient to public transportation. Rooms are reasonably sized, bathrooms functional and well lit. Quiet. Good elevator service. Little desk space. No free internet, lousy continental breakfast, no bellman. Help is friendly but not very knowledgeable about the area. For the price this hotel is a great bargain.

This was the first hotel I checked into upon arriving in New York. The hotel is not what you would call classy, but then again neither is it below average. The rooms are very spacious indeed and the room I stayed in had a view overlooking bustling 7th Avenue, which despite being a busy road, offered an authentic and exciting... More

This little hotel is clean and neat. Not fancy but friendly and convenient. There is parking 1/2 a block away, a diner across the street, coffee shops etc. We had two king rooms on the 6th floor and they were big for NYC standards and came with a mini fridge. All in one bathroom, flat screen tv, desk and chair.... More
