The Warwick Hotel is in a great location to walk to all of NYC's hot spots - Times Square, the 9/11 Memorial, the Financial District, Rockefeller Plaza, Brooklyn Bridge, etc. The hotel is beautiful and holds so much history!! The staff was amazing and the room was very clean and so pretty!! We stayed in a Premier One Bedroom Suite with a City View and two double beds and we had a rollaway bed added. The room was so spacious and we even saw a movie filmed right outside our window. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the NYC area!

Pleasant surprise staying in this old hotel that maintains a certain grace and charm of yesteryear. Besides the wonderful location ( my wife was attending a conference across the street) and old style glitz, the best thing about this hotel was the staff. From the doormen to the front desk to the bar staff to the housekeeper, everyone I encountered working at the Warwick was polished, professional and helpful. The staff was really top notch, noticed the little things and made our stay pleasant and productive. The room was spacious and well appointed, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was perfect. Unlike some other reviewers, I had no issue with the speed of the elevators. However, I did feel that the furniture in Randolph's lounge was worn and had seen better days. The only drawback, which kept this hotel from being rated a 5, were some of the billing practices. The hotel charges a "resort" fee that essentially supports your use of basic wifi, a fitness area, and the bottled water and coffee in your room. That's fine, but it's best to know that since on travel websites the only thing you see is the basic room rate - which appears much less than surrounding hotels. What is somewhat irksome is that after paying the fee, and the Manhattan prices for food and beverages, you get subjected to a $2 per bag (cash only) charge if you want to check your bags. This included a $2 charge that the kind of arrogant baggage handler demanded for the barely filled tote bag of conference papers my wife received, draped over the handle of her carry-on bag. Two bucks is couch change but that last little charge felt chintzy given the "resort" fee we'd already paid for two nights. It's too bad because it sort of soured the rest of the great stay.

As a Christmas present, I bought my parents a gift certificate for $200 to be used at the Warwick Hotel NYC and it transpires they have all sorts of stipulations on the use of certificates towards the cost of rooms. This was not explained when I purchased the gift voucher and I feel well and utterly cheated. My elderly parents had wanted to use it for a weekend away and it is impossible to use. Stay well away. Book someplace else and don't give them your money!

Nice hotel, nice location. Someone did try to enter while I was in my room and they took it very seriously though I don't know that I ever felt good about it. The hotel is classy looking and the staff are kind. If you get there early or check out but aren't flying out yet, they hold your luggage for you and let you enjoy your time. The second floor has the washrooms and also a nice seating area with mirrors and quiet. The location was great, many places to walk to nearby. I would stay again.

We stayed at the Warwick for the first time in August 2023. After multiple trips to NY over the decades, it's now hands down our favorite hotel in the area. A short walk to everything we enjoy...Times Square, Central Park etc. It's very reasonably priced. The staff were wonderful. Our corner 1 br suite was spacious and incredibly comfortable. We love that it's an old, classic NY hotel. It maintains its early 20th century charm but had plenty of the comforts of a newer hotel. We didn't care that there wasn't a full service restaurant on site. We walked out the door and had every imaginable food at our fingertips. My wife and I had such an amazing time that we are going back Fen 18th and flying our son and daughter in to join us. We can't wait to come home to our favorite hotel in the city.

The Warwick Hotel was a perfect place and location for a mother, daughter, granddaughter overnight getaway in NYC. We splurged and rented a lovely suite with a grand view of the city. It was well worth it. And fortunately we were able to check-in early so we could enjoy the suite before heading over to the MOMA. I've stayed at The Warwick before and was certainly not disappointed this time. My daughter and granddaughter loved the hotel. They commented that it was so much more charming and spacious than the modern hotels where they've stayed in the city on their past visits. Thanks to all the staff for making an otherwise freezing weekend into a warm, memorable occasion. We'll be back

We can only comment on our experience. We had a great stay at Warwick Hotel. Cannot fault anything. The guys at the main entrance were very helpful on arrival and departure. The front desk staff were spot on. If we needed anything they always offered assistance. The housemaids were friendly and did a very good job cleaning our room daily. We stayed in room no 1911 on the 19th floor. A family of four, everything we needed. Reasonable view. We were very comfortable. We also loved the character of the building considering how old it is, and enjoyed this more so than a new modern hotel for this trip. The Warwick just seems to fit in, it is after all part of NYC going back all those years. Fantastic location too! We did not eat at the hotel, only because we were too busy soaking up the city vibe & so much to see. We did try the bar a couple of times, which we also enjoyed. Either at the end of the day or a pre dinner drink. Thank you Warwick Hotel, part of a memorable family holiday. Happy New Year! We will return.

This beautiful old hotel was the haunt of Elvis, the Beatles, Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant (born Archie Leach from Bristol), and now the Z list celebrity author of this review. Very comfortable room, helpful efficient staff. Catering not sampled as we ate elsewhere. Relatively low rise building showing its age in places, windows a tad draughty, heating eccentric. Minor issues sorted swiftly by staff, and the cystern fixed by myself. Say what you want, but Americans know the value of excellent service, pulling out all the stops to earn their tips, unlike in our creaky, on life support, home country UK. Highly recommended and will visit again next time in NYC.

While the hotel is old, it is well maintained. The suite, looking at 6th Avenue, was excellent in size. Also, considering it is in a busy area, relatively quiet. Front desk personnel were terrific and the hotel location was perfect. The downsides were minimal, including some burnt out lightbulbs. The bathroom was tiny - there was no place to even lay out your clothes. Other than that, a great find.

A friend and I travelled to NYC for the holidays and stayed at the Warwick. I lived in NYC for a long time and am familiar with the area, and I did a lot of research before booking this hotel. We had a wonderful stay at the Warwick! The location is ideal for the holidays. We saw the Rockets at Radio City Music Hall a few blocks away, and we were able to walk to both Broadway shows we saw. Very close to Bloomingdale's, Serendipity, FAO Schwartz, Central Park and more. The hotel is a few blocks north of the busiest areas, which was helpful for getting around if you want to avoid some of the walking traffic during busy seasons. Room was clean, quiet and quite spacious for NYC. We had a city view room, which was lovely. I joined the Warwick Rewards Program beforehand, based on a review I read. I think you may get a better room on a higher floor this way, and you get free Wifi. It was free to join. We will definitely stay at the Warwick again in the future and highly recommend it!
