Staff was ignorant, the room I had was tidy and messy, bathroom was a joke ... It was hot in the common rooms. It's rather far from metro station. The only good thing that I can recall is that I stayed for one night and not more ... more

I stayed 10 days at the hostel and it's located in The Upper East Side in Manhattan in a calm area and the subway is near, only about 2 mins from the hostel so it's easy to get around from 96st-lexington ave which is the nearest station. A subway ride to midtown takes about 10-15 mins and to downtown 20-25.... more

Upon arrival at the Hostel we were informed that the hostel was now under new management and that are previous booking was no longer valid but they would try to accomodate us. This is not the perfect start to any trip. The result was that we were able to stay three nights and then we had to find alternative accomodation.... more
