Just arrived back from my second visit to New York. Last year I treated my wife to a stay at an up town "posh"(expensive) hotel for her 60th. The room was clean, but the bedding was worn and should be replaced. I did not check whether my room was facing the street and I wish I had. Stayed here for 5 nights and although the rooms are small they are clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful, we had a few laughs with them and they obliged with the loan of a wine opener, which won me over LoL!
