Just back from a week long trip to the Big Apple with my partner. We picked Chambers Hotel after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and we were delighted by our choice. This trendy, boutique style hotel, is small but perfectly formed and is just round the corner from Central Park and Fifth Avenue. The rooms are a bit small but... More

We picked the Chambers Hotel for a post-New England cruise, one night stay in New York City. The reviews were good and we thought it would be a kick to stay in a hotel since our last name is Chambers. There's no family connection at all, but hotel did our name very proud! It's a great location for Central Park,... More

I've known about the Chambers Hotel for years but never had reason to stay there. Shame on me. I restumbled on this midtown gem last week while searching for a room for just one night. What caught my eye was the incredibley reasonable price, $220 before tax for a Queen Size bed. I was skeptcal, but for no reason. The... More

Amazingly courteous, friendly, and professional staff. The room was perfect. I had requested a quiet room and my request was certainly complied. No sirens, traffic noise, etc. The showers are fantastic and the room was extremely clean. Go for the Baby It's Cold Outside package and get a 4PM checkout!! Enough cannot be said about how we were treated and... More

I stayed at the Chambers Hotel during the Christmas season last year. It was a very good experience and I was very impressed. Best part of the hotel is definitely the location, being right off of Fifth Avenue, you have all the nicest shops NY has to offer, and there are also a good selection of restaurants on 55th street.... We stayed at the Chambers for 3 nights. I liked the location, close to Fifth av, Central Park, theatres and museums. Staff is mostly very nice and helpful. Rooms are small - New York Style. The lamps are so stylish - it was difficult to switch them on and off. Who had the idea of making bathroom doors from glass????... More

Can´t beat this address in NY, either for bussiness or on vacation. Reasonable price considering the area, charming small hotel, couldn´t call a boutique although stylish and casual. Don´t expect much luxury, rooms are very simple, and service is not that professional, some employees very friendly. More

I've never written a review on TA before, but am just back from a fantastic trip to New York for Christmas and my 40th birthday. A big part of our enjoyment was staying at Chambers Hotel. Yes it's midtown, and you wouldn't live there, but for a visit to check out everything that NY has to offer, it couldn't be... More

This is a very pleasant hotel around mid-town. Not the funnest neighborhood in NYC but if you need to be in this area for business or whatnot this is a very good place. The rooms are spacious by NYC standards, with an actual "sitting" area that is not 5 inches from the bed. Service is good, and being connected to... More

We both spend a lot of nights in 5 star hotels for work, so when travelling for pleasure, we prefer a more personal experience - but without compromising on quality. All of the staff at Chambers were friendly and we were given a warm welcome by Kevin when we arrived at 10pm. We were offered a complimentary drink at the... More

Dear Ms. Adidasfish, We are certainly pleased you were so pleased and I will pass along your comments gladly. The ability to sleep and be comfortable in a city as busy as New York is paramount in being able to enjoy all it has to offer. I am terrifically glad Chambers was successful on both counts. The squid salad is... More
