I am from NY, but stayed here with family for a fun girls night out. The hotel is very fun, with a lounge and restaurant in lobby. Set up is very embassy suites like with the middle open throughout all of the 8 floors where you can look down onto lobby. We were greeted with a glass of champagne (they... More

I took a weekend with my wife in NYC and we stayed here. Cool hotel, location, lounge, bar, etc... Rooms are small but nice (it's New York - all rooms are small). Love the location in Tribeca. Two subway stops near by. Able to walk to Soho, Greenwich Village and our new favorite Nolita which has lots of trendy shopping,... More

Recently spent a weekend at the Tribeca Grand - wonderful staff, room decent size considering it is NY. Nice amenities - free champagne on arrival, free coffee machines on each floor, NY Times every day, easy walk to Soho, etc. Booked room months in advance but was able to get room discounted the night before when I went online and... This hotel is very nice. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We requested additional pillows and they were delivered in less than 5 minutes. The champagne upon arrival is also a nice touch. The rooms are a little small but they are nice. I was a little worried about the noise level given the open air nature of the... More

We stayed a weekend for wedding anniversary trip. Everything was great, we were allowed to check in a bit early, room nice and clean, bed terrifically comfortable, excellent towels. We enjoyed the lounge one evening, receiving good service. We slept like babies, no problems with noise or other interruptions. Subway stop right outside, a ten minute walk to Path trains... More

Stayed on business during an unseasonably warm December. Staff was very nice, at the front desk and in the restaurant. The room was a decent size (especially for one peson) as NYC hotel rooms go. The price was REALLY great in comparison to other hotels in the area. Each room has a dial that turns up this white noise in... More

Considering the price you pay to stay here, you'd think the rooms and amenities would be to a much higher standard, but at the end of the day, you're paying for the hotel name and the location, and that's about it. The lobby and lounge area are extremely nice, and the staff are friendly and helpful, but the rooms and... More

We stayed here for a weekend pre-Christmas. I was a little concerned about being so far from mid-town (most of plans were uptown) but it worked out really well and saved a lot of hassle as we totally able to avoid the chaos of Penn Station coming in and out and had all the transportation options one needs a block... I've never written this negative review of a hotel; however, my experience trying (the issue has still not been resolved) to remove two erroneous $487.52 "no show" charges on my bill is the worst example of customer service I have ever experienced in my 20 years of business travel. For the last 3 weeks I have called accounting, reservations and... More

We stayed here on a busy NYC visit weekend. We enjoyed the complimentary pet goldfish (but kept worrying that it hadn't been fed). You can hear noise from the bar, but they have a white noise sound you can turn on in the room which helped. One disappointing aspect - the bar was closed for a private event the first... More
