Very comfortable, very quiet. Great Service. We had 2 double beds for 2 adults and a 10 & 7 year old and we had a good amount of room. $245+tax for a Sat night city view. Only problem was the distance to uptown. Very close to Ferries. more

This is a great hotel with views of the statue of Liberty from your room and from the bar on the top floor. The staff have a can do attitude and the concierge are also great. Have stayed here six times as visit New York quite often. Not the most modern rooms but very clean and a typical Ritz Carlton... more

We booked an overnight as a weekend get-away from the suburbs. Nice quiet location at the tip of Manhattan - close enough for a cab up to Chinatown for a party. Just come back from 3 nights at this hotel and was very very disappointed. The bar on the 14th floor is now closed!!!, the menu in the restaruant is poor, and the very expensive New York steak on the menu was full of fat. We tried room service for a burger and chips and a bottle of wine... not good... more

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton in Battery Park in (April 2009), and found that the level of service was no where close to that of other Ritz-Carltons. While the room was very nice, the TV was not a flat screen and did not work very well. They didn't always do the turn down service with the card showing the weather... more
