- City Hotel New York

City Club Hotel was a nice surprise. We got a great deal at Cheaprooms.com and to our surprise it was chic and very close to what we were doing.(Bryant Park, Dinner,etc...) The desk clerk was very elegant and even gave us a room upgrade because they didn't have the room I pre-booked. It seems like a small hole-in-th-wall, but inside...

Looking for a quick stay in an odd month in the city. Found city club via hotels.com. It's in a great spot on 44th between 5th and 6th which made walking almost anywhere an easy task. When I arrived my room wasn't ready at 2:30 so I left my bags with them and came back at night. They upgraded me...

I have been to new york loads of times and only once before have I had a room as spacious as this, which is a first for new york. I am not bothered about not having a pool or gym in the hotel if the room makes up for it and this without any doubt does. The room and bathroom...

Although the room we had was really small and we really didn't have anywhere to store our luggage, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and well serviced. City Club is very quaint and is nestled in a great location. Great walking distance to Time Square, Bryant Park, Rockefeller, the subway, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. I...

The City Club is a quaint hotel in a great location. We were even surprised with an upgraded room upon check in. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well appointed...

The rooms were cozy and well appointed -- very modern looking. The lighting added to the appeal (think trendy night club lighting). The bed...

My wife and I stayed here in November 2011 for a week visiting NYC. Great location, great staff and very comfortable rooms. There's a restaurant next door great for breakfast. Walking distance to Times Square and Broadway districts. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

I frequent the City Club monthly for business purposes and it has become my home away from home. The staff is fantastic and always accomodating, whatever my needs may be. Some of the rooms definitely need some TLC and updating, though. Also, the rooms near the elevator can be noisy at nighttime and the walls are thin. You can hear...

This hotel is advertised above 4 stars, but it is 3-stars at best in my opinion. Our room needed remodeling. The wallpaper was old and worn. The rugs were stained. There was no real desk to work from in the room, just a small table. The tile shower was nice and the toilet had plenty of flush power. The bed...
