Plenty of room here with a little balcony and close to many subway stations and walking distance to many attractions. Restaurants everywhere. Doormen were exceptionally nice. Remodeling but they will be done soon.

Staff went out of their way to make you feel at home- best in Mid-Town NY. Free wine and snack happy hour between 6-7pm Monday-Friday was an added bonus. The hotel is going thru a renovation right now but did not inconvenience me an any way. During my long stay, the microwave, refrigerator and stove was an important feature.

The staff is excellent, from the door man (especially Rome and Izzy), front desk staff, to the concierge. Room was large (for New York). Complementary wine and snacks in the second floor lounge from 6:00 - 7:00 PM were appreciated. Fabulous location, close to everything.

The hotel was being renovated at the time of our stay and as a reward for any inconvenience we were treated to free wine each evening which was greatly appreciated! We arrived in time for dinner during a thunderstorm and 50 degree temperature. The air conditioner was going, so we put up the heat and got blasted by more air conditioning. The heat had been turned off. Want a restaurant? None in the hotel. Room service only. Want a snack? No minibar in the room, and no machines. Breakfast? Mon-Fri... More

The staff is great, from the door man, front desk (Eduardo) o the concierge. Rooms are large and well maintained, housekeeping impeccable. Elevators (2) are slow and during the day one is assigned to housekeeping.No restaurant of bar though the lounge it's inviting,colorful and provides newspapers and tv's, and fee WiFi service. On going construction was noisy at times.
