Just returned from a 4-night stay where I went to NYC to enjoy the Broadway Theater. The location was perfect -- just a 10 to 12 minute walk from the Theater District/Times Square and within walking distance of so many dining establishments, 5th Ave. shopping, Macys, NYC tourist attractions, and food/drug stores. Bryant Park is one block away as well... more

This hotel is marvelous. The rooms are spacious with great views and a huge lovely shower. The bed is plush and the TV has many stations including a Broadway channel so you can see what show strikes your fancy. The morning breakfast is ridiculously good and varied, get there early and enjoy it! The staff is fast and helpful. Special... more

Normally we do not stay in hotels or at resorts, preferring to rent either an apartment, condo, house or cottage. However, I was reluctant to rent in NYC because we were only staying 4 nights and many properties required a longer stay. I turned to TripAdvisor to help find an affordable, roomy hotel that was highly recommended by travelers and... more

This is a nice, clean, centrally located, and reasonably priced hotel. We had no major issues during our three night stay, and enjoyed the complimentary internet access on the third floor (three computers with three printers available), great front desk service, and spacious (by NY standards) accommodations. Our only complaint during our stay was the slow elevators during 'peak' morning... more

I apologize about the elevators. Peak times can be slow, especially in the summer and weekends - the last hour of our breakfast. We certainly try to thin things out by notifying guest of these peak time and if has improved. We also run an elevator on manual when it gets backed up. We will continue to seek way to...

We stayed at this hotel during the Memorial Day weekend. This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The bed was confortable. My mother- in- law and daughter slept very comfortably on the sofa bed. Breakfast was great. Room was clean. But the best part is the location. It is right across the street from Bryant Park and walking distance to Times... more

We stayed here for two weeks and were given a large room with a view of the Empire State building. Our room had a very tiny open closet that had space for maybe five hangers. Not sure if the lack of space had anything to do with the room designated as "handicapped" but seriously there wasn't very much shelf space... more

Excellent suite hotel (with microwave & refrigerator). Bed was comfortable. All the room mechanicals worked fine, including Wi-Fi. The entire hotel was clean and well maintained. Location was convenient to Times Square and the rest of mid-town. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was very good with a wider variety than I expected. Ecellent value for the money. more

We stayed there in April 2009 after attending a funeral in PA. This was my first trip to Manhattan and I am from California. I took my wife (an experienced NY visitor) and 4 others (I rented 3 rooms for a week) I seriously spent about 20, maybe 30 hours at night looking for the perfect hotel. I finally stumbled... more

My mother, sister, and I stayed here 6/11-6/14. We loved being so close to Times Square without having to deal with the crowds. Our room had an Empire State Building view and after 2 days of fog, we finally got to see it! ;-) The b-fast buffett was always plenty stocked and we liked the reminders about times when the... more

After staying at the Marriott Marquis the last two times we visited New York, I decided to try the Residence Inn since I was looking for more space while traveling with my two teens. After being here a couple of days, I know I made the right choice and will be back at the Residence Inn! Definitely more room, love... more
