Also, you have the wrong address for this former Hotel. It is (Was) at 229 W. 58th St. NYC We stayed here years ago when attending an event at Carnegie Hall. Most of the area is being torn down now. Hopefully new hotels will be built in that area as it was very convenient to the Hall for performances. The... More

Went to New York with some girlfriends, there were 8 of us I our group. I booked this hotel because we all wanted to stay in an affordable hotel in the Carnegie Suites fitted the bill. “Great accomodations at a great price.”

Slept four comfortably- two queen sized beds. Had a small fridge in the room, bathroom was large. The staff were helpful and friendly. We checked our bags before checking out- our bags almost got loaded onto the wrong car that was heading to the airport....disaster was averted and it all got straightened out.
