I am a frequent NYC traveler, so I know about how big apartments & such in the city are. The EconoLodge is NOT in Times Square, more like 4-5 blocks away, but still a good location. It's not much to look at from the outside, but inside it is well maintained & clean. Now, the rooms are SMALL, but any... more

I had to stay en extra day in New York last month, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money as I would not be there except to sleep. this hotel is quite fone for that, but would not be good if it was 2 people who had lots of stuff. Like most rooms in Manhattan, it is... more

Cozy? I mean small, but the amenities were great. Desk folks were knowledgeable. Breakfasts were great. Centrally located. Near subway. Theater right next door. What more could you ask? Nice place. more

I have stayed there multiple times for business, it is centrally located for everything I need. I am also planning on staying there for personal trips as well. The best price in Manhattan, very knowledgeable people. 5 minutes to Times Square by foot! more

We stayed there for a whole week and would stay there again. Yes, it's small, but who cares, you are hardly in as you are too busy checking the wonderful NYC. For us what mattered the most was its cleanliness and location. We walked everywhere till late as it was central and safe. The breakfast was average, but it fed... more

This hotel suited my needs perfectly. I wanted to stay close to Times Square and this hotel is only about 5 blocks away. The room was quite small, but it was clean and comfortable. We didn't bring a lot of luggage so everything fit just fine. I always wanted to stay in Manhattan but was never able to afford it... more

This location, only a few hundred metres away from Times Square is perfect, if you are up for some 24h action. There are lots of good cheap eats just around the corner in Hells Kitchen, specially the Five Napkins Burger on the corner of 45th and 9. ave are worth a visit if you are in for some juicy meat..... more

The clue here is in the title - if you want luxury then you'll have to pay for it! I stayed here for five nights and found it perfect for my needs - close enough to the action to be able to walk around, and clean/comfortable. Both these needs were met. My room was a bit 'wee', and if there... more
