Excellent location, good concept but the rooms need to be renovated: they are just OK for a short stay, but nothing is really enjoyable, the bed is old as well as the carpet (I would not walk barefoot...). There are much better in NYC for that price... more

The Doubletree is a perfectly nice hotel that costs a third or even less than the ritzier hotels that surround it on the Upper East Side.
