Stayed here last Nov. with my family. Was Ok for all the time we spent in it! We had 4 rooms, each with a view of the windows on the other side of the Hotel and the roof below so was rather disappointing. One of the showers was blocked on our arrival but was fixed before night time. Small rooms... more

This place was tiny, run down and dirty. The staff was rude and it was close to nothing that was open late night. It was better than Motel 6 but not much. oh and the elevator broke down. more

For once the PRICELINE "name your price" feature let me down in a major way. Bid $100 for this dump. I imagine Jolly (an Italian chain operation) gets most of its clientele from Priceline or Italy. Everyone staying there seems to know they made a mistake - just too cheap, lazy or there for 1-2 nights to bother to change.... more

only at the hotel for 3 days as I was in transit to bermuda. After reading the comments on tripadvisor I was a little worried. The basic thing that made this hotel better for me was the room was a deluxe (contemporary design with a big marble bathroom) No doubt costly on the rate card the room was clean, light,... more

See all prior reviews. I've had over 200 room nights in New York this decade and this was easily the worst of the lot. Lobby and elevators look great, but rooms are desperate - stuffy, inward-facing, aged, stained, green carpets and red bedspreads, overheated, terribly depressing. Even at $100 on priceline it was a ripoff. more

Location of this hotel is great.. East Mid Town area very close to the good stuff, tourist, shopping, eating and drinking! However the hotel was poor, rooms very small and very noisy and very very hot, even for November no proper ventilation other than opening the window - you can't possibly sleep like this. You might if you're lucky get... more

I Found a croachroak on my window and corridors are always dirty. The Hotel is very well located but need desperatly some improvements in decoration. Rooms are too small, you have difficulty in opening your luggage more

Have been in the Jolly for 4 nights. Must ask to change the room that it was very small. The new room was dated but little better. The corridors were dirty and asking for an extra blanket that was full of holes! The staff was nice. The location very good. Will not recommend this hotel. more

I booked this hotel through Priceline and was pleased with the ~$200/night rate. The location was fine, but everythingelse was horrific. When we checked in, an elderly gentleman kept talking to my sister while I was at the front desk. The front desk clerk said to stay away from him. Comforting. Apparnetly, this hotel is also a residential hotel, which... more
