We stayed on the 27th floor facing the Viacom building. The view out our window was of other buildings but was beautiful at night when all the lights were on. We booked our room on Priceline and paid $225 per night. Our king size bed was so comfortable and had lots of pillows. Our room was spacious, quiet and clean.... more

This may be my favorite hotel in New York. If you want to be in the middle of it all, the Marriott Marquis is a great choice. The rooms are larger than the average NY hotel room. If you're lucky, you can get a Times Square view (and the heavy curtains will block out the light so you can sleep.)... more

Way too big and impersonal. Had a great week in NY where pretty much everybody we dealt with was friendly, EXCEPT the staff at the Marriott Marquis.
