Hotel Stanford is a must for anyone wanting to see New York. Within walking distance to all the tourist hotspots! Was recommended to stay here. Staff I found very awkward, felt more of a nuisance at times rather than a guest! Ideal for sight seeing! Do not let my experience put you off from staying here!

I would recommend this hotel highly. We stayed here for a week; the service was excellent (if we needed anything we got immediate response), and everything was clean--lobby, halls, room, and elevator. The location is excellent; steps away from subway, three blocks from Penn Station. MANY restaurants within a few blocks. We would stay here again.

Awesome location! Close to restaurants especially Asian. Rooms are honestly bit dirty but staying in NYC under $200 is rare. Edpecially free breakfast isnt the most delicious but edible. I recommend to those who are budget sensitive and dont mind little shoddy bed
