Looked great, nice room, expensive. If it had been at 3 star prices rather than deluxe prices it would have been great. So what didn't work. Aircon was so noisy first night that we couldn't sleep. This landmark hotel is by far my favorite hotel in New York. The staff members are wonderful. This is an old world experience. My favorite touch is the elevator operators. The hotel is cozy, the workout room and spa is fantastic. I have stayed at the Pierre often in years past. It is a real treat. more
