The most unbelievably jaded, unhelpful, unfriendly reception staff ("We're not paid enough to be friendly" one of them said to me; they seem to have the worst exploitative manager, 'Nick', in the universe, very sad.) Yes, the cost is very cheap for a New York hotel in such a great location. Sadly, however, that is about all this place has going for it. We stayed here as there was parking offered - this is actually on the street and nothing to do with the hostel so should not be used as a facility on their details. Fly for 12 hours, to come to this! The pictures on this site are complete LIE! The man behind the desk had to have known that this place was awful as he asked me if we wanted to see this room before we paid. Then tells me that we are on the 5th floor and there elevator does not work... more

The website photos are obivously fake, the rooms are vile, the "facilities" offered in bathroom and WC are hardly what one would expect for what they charge. The worst place I have ever stayed in. Avoid this dump at all costs!!!! more
