My family and I were very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and large (best sleep I've had in years.) The staff was friendly and helpful, even during the middle of the night when my daughter became sick. Only drawback would be the small lobby and luggage storage. We were accidentally given a piece of someone else's... more

I've stayed in quite a number of hotels in New York and this is, in my opinion, the best value out there. The hotel itself isn't going to knock your socks off. It's more practical than grand. While the building materials are high quality, the lobby is small and the common areas are nondescript. The rooms are the size and... more

We stayed at the Courtyard New York Manhattan Midtown East during our NYC holidays earlier this year in late April through to early May 09. The first impression of the hotel was not particularly memorable since it does not have those huge lobby foyers as the more expensive hotels. In fact the check-in area was really rather small and nondescript.... more

Stayed for 3 nights with my Dad and brother whilst we were in New York seeing boxing at madison square gardens! The hotel has a wicked location on 3rd avenue. Quite easy to find for taxi drivers too ( especially since most taxi drivers couldn't even locate central park - i kid you not!!!) The entrance is small but functional... more

We stayed for one night with our two children, ages 9 and 11. We had a very spacious room with 2 double beds and a sofa bed. We stayed on the 19th floor and enjoyed the views. We could hear the typical city noise during the night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We requested early check in with... more

Spotless, spacious and quiet rooms. Staff was responsive and professional. The location is ideal and within walking distance to MOMA, Times Square, Central Park, the theatre district and shopping. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. more

We had reserved two rooms and check in was easy and smooth. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Both rooms/bathrooms were very clean and spacious for NYC. Beds were very comfortable. Did not have any noise issues from inside or outside of the hotel. There are subway stations close to the hotel. Also, used the business center computers... more

For NYC you get a large room, we had a King size bed plus a sofa bed. We paid $175 a night which is also very reasonable for NY. There is a business floor where you can use one of three computers, print your boarding passes, get free coffee, other than that amenties are minimum although if you forgot topack... more

This is such a great, quiet, but well-placed location. And you want to know ANYTHING about good restaurants anywhere in New York? - ask John - the concierge - his recommendations were ALWAYS spot on! Gooooood hotel!!! more

First of all, the rooms are very nice. We had rooms with 2 queen beds plus a sofa sleeper, so you could easily put 6 in these rooms. There is free wi-fi though our iPods and iPhones failed to connect except in the lobby. For my laptop it worked fine. There is no free breakfast here, but a breakfast area... more
