The Ramada Eastside will from now on be my hotel of choice when staying in NYC. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, pillows fluffy. The only issue I had was noise coming from the wall. According to staff the knocking noise coming from the wall was caused by heating in the pipes. They did offer a different room, but... More

Dear Iheartny_82, Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay, but sorry about the minor inconveniences you faced with your room type and heat. We do try to give our guests the type of room they request, but sometimes they are not available. We look forward to welcoming you again on your next visit! Liz from... More

We stayed at the Ramada Eastside for the second time last fall and I have had it on my mind that I ought to write a nice review even though time has passed! The first night the safe didn't work and I reported it and the next morning we were given another room, with two queen beds, a microwave, fridge... More

Generally, I like this hotel, and I've stayed here regularly. There is much good to be said about it, and I've reviewed it favorably before. I like the Apple Core Hotels, and this one in particular. Unfortunately, I'm beginning to look elsewhere for one reason: Internet access is important. Yes, they have free wifi access to the internet, but it... More

We chose this hotel for its convenient location and price. But we did not satisfied. The rooms are very old and they smell dusty. even the blankets have holes on them. The receptionist in the evening time is rude and not helpful. More

Centrally situated in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Midtown Manhattan, the Ramada Eastside stands elegantly on the corner of Lexington Avenue. All this and a well maintained place to stay at a reasonable rates. Step through the automatic doors, away from the honking and hustling of the street, and you are in the small, but comfortable, lobby: to the left... More

Though I prefer the Hotel @ Times Square (for location mostly), this is another very good hotel from the group. Stayed here a few times, as well. Very reasonable prices, great housekeeping (across the board in this group), convenient location. Only issue I had was with the plumbing - but that was more so an issue with the building than... Was very dubious of this two star hotel. I got a 12th floor room, king bed, small, clean, small bathroom, bad pillows, good mattress, bad old style bedspread, good TV, loud AC/heater, pedestrian breakfast (but there was a breakfast), weak coffee, for $159. on this almost holiday weekend. Who can argue with the value? I give it a B+ and... More

The room was clean, the location is good, but at $250/night the service was pretty average. I accidentally double-booked myself into the hotel, and the manager wasn't interested in helping me out. Just repeated the "it's policy to charge you" line, regardless of the fact I still had a few nights to stay there, and that there were dozens of... More

Good hotel. Has a few rooms w minifrig and microwave - must request in advance. Rooms not too small by Manhattan standards. Some of the bathrooms very tiny - kept bumping into walls in "shower/tub combo". Windows can open which is nice for overheated Manhattan hotels. Breakfast downstairs is ordinary - prepackaged stuff, juices, hard boiled eggs if you get... More

Reasonable quality hotel for reasonable price in central NYC. Great location near metro for exploring NYC as very central, but only problem is that the immediate surrounding area doesn't have a lot of cafes or bars, so whilst it was perfect as a base for our first trip to explore NYC, next time I'll look for a more funky neighbourhood....
