The location of this hotel is excellent. It is only 2 minutes walking to nearby subway station and surrounded by many great restaurants. 2 doors down it is a Korean grocery store that opens until midnight. I often worked late in downtown, but had so issue getting back by subway and finding something to eat nearby and feeling absolutely safe.... more

I have no complaints whatsoever about this hotel. The room was a bit small, but on par with other NYC hotels. Nice new flat screen TV, very comfortable memory foam mattress, AC/Heat worked great. The hotel was very quiet and in a great location; close to Times Square, The Empire State Building, Penn Station, etc. The hotel was very clean... more

The room was small. I booked a kings bed to find out I only got a queen. Location was excellent in the middle of Korea town and very very close to 5th,6th and broadway. I felt safe at night in the area as it was a busy section of midtown. The staff were friendly. the breakfast was basic but reasoable.... more

Our hotel is indeed located on 32nd Street between Broadway and Fifth Avenue, steps away from the Empire State Building, Macy's, the fashion district, Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. We booked 2 double beds for four nights. We walked from Penn Station (easy walk) and tried to check in at 4pm after a day of travel. The room was not ready and we were told to come back in an hour. We returned more than an hour later and still had to wait in the lobby. This is a... more

Dear turquoisebuyer , Thank you for your review! Our guests indeed love our memory foam mattresses that take the shape of your body for a perfect night of sleep. Cleanliness is also very important to us and our housekeepers work very hard to make sure rooms and public areas are constantly fresh. We apologize for any inconvenience you faced during...

We planned a mini vacation to New York in Sept. 2009 and stayed at Laquinta Manhattan. While my family and I were there I left my cam corder in the Business Center and the next day it was gone. I reported the situation to the General Manager who immediatly took actions and reviewed all the camera recoding of the hotel... more

It's practically impossible to find a decent hotel in midtown Manhattan for under $200/night, but I kept checking until I ran across the La Quinta on West 32nd Street and jumped on it. The location absolutely can't be beat--less than a block from the Herald Square subway station between Broadway and Fifth Avenue, only a few blocks from Times Square... more

Dear Trish0928, Thank you for staying with us! Our guests love our location. Our hotel is indeed located a few steps away from the Empire State building, Madison Square Garden, macy’s and 34th Street shopping and more! We apologize if our hotel’s sign is small. However, since we are a landmark building we are unable to put up large signs...

We stayed here for 8 nights & were very pleased overall. Rooms are a decent size for NYC with a nice flat-screen TV, & it was quiet. Liked the free Internet & phone + a printer available in the `business center' downstairs. Bed was comfortable as long as you don't mind it very soft. Decent bagels included in the breakfast,... more

I loved this hotel. The room was small but unless you want to spend over 300 a night, that is typical New York, especially when the buildings are so old. Cleanliness was immaculate, staff was exceptionally friendly. Water pressure and abundance of hot water was fantastic. Continental breakfast was just perfect to get the day started. What I really loved... more
