My wife and I arranged our stay through a last-minute same day booking on priceline.com. We got a decent rate, and knew nothing about the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The decor is trendy and modern, and the hotel looks crisp and clean after new renovations. Previous reviewers' criticisms about the elevator having graffiti and the bathrooms being small were... more

As soon as I walked in I knew I had made the right decision. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, up to date, contemporary, clean, professional. The lobby offered 24 hour cafe with premade sandwiches, drinks, etc. There wasn't any room service but there was a microwave and minifridge in room. The room itself looked spectacular. Beautifully decorated and very clean.... more

For $109/night, what should I expect. Free internet service was great, and free continental breakfast was a positive surprise, 45 inch plasma tv was a bonus, as was the comfortable mattress and linens. The lobby had plenty of space to sit and relax, and the front desk staff were friendly. A nice touch was complimentary shuttle service to/from the Airport.... more

I was impressed with this hotel. It was a nice surprise to find this place at the end of a long driving day. The 42" flat screen HD TV was a special treat. The room was spacious, plush bedding, oversize sofa in sitting area, wet bar, small fridge, desk, wireless. I could tell that the building had been renovated as... more

The facility seems a bit old and worn, but the rooms appear recently renovated. Our first room smelled like the carpet was washed in beer, so they moved us to a room that smelled like disinfectant. It was an improvement. My complaint was when I brought my child's dinner down to the lobby and asked to use a microwave to... more

This was billed as a 3 star hotel. And supposed to have a restaurant. This is really not a restaurant, but a little place for them to serve breakfast. Also, the availability of food, at any other time is very limited. If you can survive on ham sandwiches and salads, then this is your place. Oh, you might get lucky... more

My husband, two young daughters and I have just returned from a 4 day stay at the Hyatt Place in El Paso. The stay was comfortable. The beds and flat screen t.v. were wonderful and the room was very clean. The only thing that I wasn't to thrilled about was the tiny bathroom. But ther than that we did not... more

This is my second stay at a 'new' Hyatt Place hotel. Last one was in San Antonio. They evidently are taking over a lot of old Amerisuites and converting them over to Hyatt Place. This one was done better than the one in San Antonio. The paint/ wall paper/ carpet trim, etc wasn't as sloppy. Staff was nice enough and... more

I think the property may still have been under renovation when the last reviewer stayed here. There's still a little work underway, (painting in the lobby) and a huge "pardon the dust" sign in the lobby. Staff is gracious and friendly. Asked for a room away from the elevators & ice machines and I'm at the very, very end of... more

I had read reviews that this hotel had been recently renovated. The appearance of the room was decent, especially the 42" plasma. The rest of the hotel looked run down. The lobby had spots where the wallpaper was falling off the wall, and the elevator's had graffiti on them. The first room we stayed in began leaking water from the... more
