We make Lake Casitas a regular destination for local entertainment. Great fishing, great variety of campsites, great jumping off point for hiking trails along the Sespe. The frisbee golf-course is world class! Thankfully the bees aren't anywhere in sight this year, apparently California wildfires were to blame for an unusually large population of bees moving into the area in 2008. more

Lake Casitas has a great waterpark and great activities for the kids. It would be the IDEAL place to go for a family camping trip except for the disgusting bathrooms and horrible hornet infestation. Fun campsite with lots to do. We parked out 40' RV with full hookups. Fishing, frisbee golf, water park, bikes. Very clean. since the campground is broken up in different sections, it does not feel too big. If you are in the back area it is quite a bike ride to the water park and general store. more
