I stayed here twice in June. Once with a group from Knoxville and a follow up visit a bit latter with my sister who was visiting from the Chicago area. The group visit was great. We had arranged in advance for a Friday night dinner for the whole group. Breakfast the following morning at 9 was elegant. The large living room and the dining area made it a good place to socialized. There was lots to do in the area for those who stayed over a second night.
I went back with my sister and enjoyed all the interesting things about the place. The owners have lived in Thailand and Jakarta and have quite a collection of handsome pieces from those places. Also a wonderful textile collection.
It's a super place to go for a weekend, Chattannoga nearby and the Fort Oglethorpe area itself of interest to Civil War buffs.
I would go back.
