I don't know why anyone would stay here unless they love nature. If hummingbirds are your thing, and a rustic setting is OK, this place is wonderful. They have cabins, and a few extremely small campsites. You can see a large number of species of hummingbird here.
Photographers should be aware that there are restrictions on background, and high powered flashes. more

Be prepared to bring alot of bug spray, and cleaning supplies. Spiders were everywhere, and crickets jumped out from behind everything. Ants were widespread throughout the apartment. There was dust that was probably there for many months. The owners were kind and friendly. But most of all the hummingbirds were amazing. more

The Bug Haven title is a little over the top, really an exaggeratiion. The lady was with her frail 75-85 year old mother and first off they did not like the 2 mile mountain road. Wanted not to stay and wanted a refund, which I did not give. While we are not a Holiday Inn, almost all of our guests...
